Beatles vs Stones - A Musical Showdown

The two greatest rock 'n' roll bands of all time face off as Tacoma Arts Live hosts tributes to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Renowned tribute bands Abbey Road and Satisfaction - The International Rolling Stones Show engage in a musical showdown of the hits. “Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown” returns to the Rialto Theater on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:30 pm. Good Lovelies

The Good Lovelies are a Canadian folk/roots trio featuring stunning three-part harmonies. They have been recurring guests on Stuart McLean’s CBC radio program Vinyl Café (heard in this area on KUOW-FM), and have won a Juno (the “Canadian Grammy”). They have won four Canadian Folk Music Awards, including 2011 Vocal Group of the Year (beating The Wailin’ Jennys), and 2013 Vocal Group of the Year and 2013 Ensemble of the Year, both for their live concert album Live at Revolution.
